Hello there! Today we we'll talk abouth the fifth installment of the Lorien Legacies main series. Last time the previous book wasn't all that bad and had an interesting ending, so did this one follow up?

We never imagined the Mogodorians could turn one of our own against us. We were fools for trusting Five. And now Eight is lost forever. I would do anything to bring him back, but that's impossible. Instead, I will do whatever it takes to destroy every last one of them.
I've spent my entire life hiding from them, and they've stolen everything away from me. But that stops now. We're going to take the battle to them. We have a new ally who knows their weaknesses. And I finally have the power to fight back.
The story continues where the last book left , with the garde devastated by the lost of number 8, the cool guy XD. Also, there's the thing of that fine young lady, which was supposed to be something like a garde and lived with number 7 in Spain, is a prisioner of Setrakus-ra. So basically we alternate between those two scenarios, watching as the girl tries to escape and as the other garde reunites themselves and decides to investigate a certain lead on an ancient loric temple, all of this while bringing number 8 body along.This whole bussiness ends up in a kind of unexpected move(SPOILER BEGIN) when the garde releases an insane amount of energy into the Earth giving everyone on the planet legacies so they could stop the invasion of the Mogadorians due to a failure in a pacific solution(LOL). Also, Ella turns out to be Setrakus-ka grandaughter . Also number 5 is a good guy now XD (SPOILER END)
This book had some interesting plot lines going on revolving the whole unwraping of Setrakus plan but failed miserably to deliver a plausible explanation about how a bunch of teens are going to defend an entire planet by giving a cheap explanation of the kind 'suddenly, everyone was freaking awesome ' XD
