Hi there dear fellows! Today I'm going to talk a bit about another book of the Lorien legacies series: The fall of five. The title is kind of a huge spoiler itself but that's something to be expected if you read something aimed for teens. Let's talk about the plot(SPOILERS AHEAD)
The book starts where the last one ended: Sam is a prisioner in a Mogadorian installation and the other Numbers have finally asembled and are ready for action. The situation changes really quickly because with Sam's dad help and a Mogadorian rebel, Sam is able to escape and all the family finally reunites together after a few pages.
After that comes a whole load of pages full of slice of life situations that are as boring as they could ever dream to be XD .
There's a new character, number five, who doesn't really fit in the plot and we see why in the latter pages: he's a traitor,something to be expected since the beginning(I mean, look at the title !).That fact is not the only obvious one: Sam's dad was a character with a beginning and an end brought to the story to make a point about honesty and justice.
Oddly , the best part of the book is the ending as there's some hints concerning the true identity of the extra Number and there's some tragic deaths that are kind of unexpected and come as a truly surprise.
Moreover, the situation is finally interesting as they are separated again and have to fight seriously.
And that was pretty much it. This book seemed like a prequel to a bigger event more than an actual event , but it had its moments, I guess. The good news is that the next one seems really promising.
